    What changed
A 7 October CQNews report recorded 9.1 million visits to monitored A-rated attractions during National Day 2026. Overnight trips and leisure-district visits were reported separately; the figures should not be added together.
    What it means for you
Travellers researching Chongqing attractions can use the holiday rankings as background. The figures count visits within the monitored group, not unique people visiting the whole municipality, and do not predict current crowds or ticket availability.
    What to do
Check each attraction's current official visitor information, booking and entry requirements, and transport before arranging your visit. Use the rankings to choose places to research, then confirm the details for your travel dates.
